Synopsis

Set in Victorian London. A strange figure who goes by the name of Edward Hyde is identified as the culprit of the recent mayhem around the streets of Soho, yet remains seen by few. His criminal activity in London's underworld and links to high society is an enigma to many. Hyde was seen trampling on a child in the early hours of a black winters morning, witnessed by Richard Enfield whom is a well known man about town. Hyde with an angry mob around him, agreed to give a cheque to the child's father for one hundred pounds to avert the police. The cheque was genuine and was signed by the good Doctor Jekyll. Enfield, a friend of Mr Utterson the lawyer, recalled this horrific story when they walked past an old door on their Sunday walk, Utterson puts puzzle together and is concerned about this Hyde fellow and his relationship to his old friend Doctor Jekyll.When the esteemed Dr Jekyll leaves his entire fortune to Hyde. His good friend and lawyer Mr Utterson is extremely suspicious of Hyde, he was determined to find out who he was and why he had such a hold over his old friend Dr Jekyll, even his old friend and colleague Dr Lanyon has never heard his name. Was this blackmail? Utterson grew uneasy and attempted to speak with Jekyll again about his will but the doctor refused to discuss.
