Shiddat (2021) is a passionate tale that explores the lengths one can go to for "true love" in a world governed by logic and practicality. The story follows Jaggi (Sunny Kaushal), a free-spirited Punjabi boy who believes in old-school, obsessive love. At a sports camp, he meets Kartika (Radhika Madan), an ambitious swimmer. Despite their different outlooks, they form a deep connection. However, Kartika is already engaged and eventually moves to London for her wedding. Driven by his shiddat (passion), Jaggi decides he must reach her before she says "I do." Lacking a visa and resources, he embarks on a perilous, illegal journey across borders, through mountains, and over the English Channel. In a parallel track, we see the story of Gautam (Mohit Raina), an immigration officer, and his wife Ira (Diana Penty), whose "perfect" marriage is crumbling. Their lives intertwine when Gautam encounters Jaggi in a detention center. Will Jaggi's madness conquer the world's borders, or will reality catch up to him?
