Synopsis

Bhediya (2022) is a groundbreaking entry into the Maddock Supernatural Universe. Set in the lush, mystical forests of Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh, the film tells the story of Bhaskar (Varun Dhawan), a greedy contractor who arrives in the North East to build a road through protected tribal land. One fateful night, Bhaskar is bitten by a mythical wolf in the deep woods. Soon, he begins to undergo a terrifying transformation every full moon—developing heightened senses, superhuman strength, and a craving for raw meat. As Bhaskar turns into a werewolf (Bhediya), he and his quirky friends—Jana (Abhishek Banerjee) and Jodhumani (Paalin Kabak)—must find a cure with the help of a mysterious veterinarian, Dr. Anika (Kriti Sanon).
