📖 Synopsis

Coriolanus (2011) is a visceral, contemporary retelling of William Shakespeare’s tragic play, brought to life in a gritty, modern-day setting. The film marks the directorial debut of Ralph Fiennes, who stars as Caius Martius "Coriolanus", an arrogant yet brilliant Roman general who is more at home on the battlefield than in the political arena.
