Synopsis

Sarileru Neekevvaru (2020) follows the journey of Major Ajay Krishna (Mahesh Babu), an elite Indian Army commando stationed at the border. After a fellow soldier is injured in a rescue operation, Ajay is tasked with traveling to Kurnool to break the news to the soldier’s family and assist them during a wedding. Upon arriving, he discovers that the family, led by Professor Bharathi (Vijayashanti), is being terrorized by a corrupt minister, Nagendra Reddy (Prakash Raj). Ajay decides to stay back and take on the powerful politician, using both his military discipline and wit to clean up the corruption. Along the way, he encounters Samskruthi (Rashmika Mandanna), whose hilarious attempts to win his heart add a perfect comedic touch.
