📖 Synopsis

Jagdishwar Mishra, aka Jolly (Akshay Kumar), is a small-time, struggling lawyer in Lucknow who acts as a sidekick to a famous advocate. Desperate to buy his own law chamber and prove his worth, Jolly makes a grave mistake: he cons a pregnant widow, Hina (Sayani Gupta), out of her savings by promising to help her get justice for her husband, who was killed in a "fake encounter." When Hina realizes she has been cheated, she takes a tragic step that leaves Jolly’s conscience shattered. Driven by guilt and a newfound sense of duty, Jolly decides to take up Hina’s case against the state. However, he finds himself up against the ruthless and elite lawyer Pramod Mathur (Annu Kapoor), who will stop at nothing to protect a corrupt system. With the eccentric but fair Justice Tripathi (Saurabh Shukla) presiding over the case, Jolly must travel from the gullies of Lucknow to the mountains of Kashmir to uncover a conspiracy that goes all the way to the top.
