Synopsis

In 1984, Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) works as a senior anthropologist at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., secretly performing heroic deeds while still mourning her lost love, Steve Trevor (Chris Pine). When her socially awkward colleague Barbara Minerva (Kristen Wiig) discovers a mysterious ancient artifact called the Dreamstone, life for everyone changes in an instant. Unbeknownst to them, the stone grants users their deepest heart's desire—but at a devastating personal cost. Diana unknowingly wishes for Steve to return, while Barbara wishes to be strong and "special" like Diana.
