📖 Synopsis

Jen (Charlotte Vega) and a group of her close friends arrive in a small Virginia town to hike the Appalachian Trail. Despite warnings from the local townspeople to stick to the designated path, the group ventures off-trail in search of a rumored Civil War fort. Their adventure quickly turns into a nightmare when a massive rolling log kills one of them and they realize they are being stalked by figures wearing animal skulls. The survivors are captured by The Foundation, a self-sufficient community that has lived in total isolation since 1859, believing that the rest of the United States is doomed to collapse. Led by the imposing Venable (Bill Sage), the Foundation operates under a primitive and brutal legal system where trespassing is a capital offense.
