Arjun Reddy Deshmukh (Vijay Deverakonda) is a brilliant but highly volatile senior medical student with severe anger management issues. His life finds a center when he falls into an obsessive, deep-seated romance with a timid junior student, Preethi Shetty (Shalini Pandey). Their relationship is a whirlwind of passion, but it hits a wall when Preethi’s traditional father vehemently opposes their union.
